Project: Grade 4 English Home Language or First Additional Language Term 3

A legend: Wolraad Woltemade 

All aspects of the project as required by the ATP 2021.

Research (10 marks) – A nice ice breaker  crossword puzzle and comprehension test / guiding questions about the legend.

Writing task (30 marks) – Includes sheet for planning, design a honorary statue for your hero.

Write a diary entry about the day at sea where the ship sunk from the voice of the horse / captain / Wolraad’s son.

Includes writing frame to guide learners to write the diary entry with the correct structure (format).

Example text of diary to introduce features etc.

Presentation (20 marks) – Discuss and present statue designed as well as diary entry (guidelines / writing frame included as well).

Rubrics of all aspects included and memorandum.
